Counselling

What to expect

During the Covid-19 pandemic counselling sessions will be offered remotely via telephone, Skype or Zoom.

At SMCC, we aim to see you within 6 weeks of initial contact. You will be contacted by one of our counsellors who will then arrange a suitable time and and venue (if applicable).

We offer an initial 6 sessions followed by a review, then a further 6 sessions will be authorised by the management team.

Donations

As we receive no funding, we are reliant on donations to continue our work to improve the mental health of the local residents.

If you can afford it, we would request you donate either £2 or £5 per session for phone/ Skype counselling sessions.

For face to face sessions in the small meeting rooms at Trafford libraries add £5 to cover the cost of room hire.

If you are unable to donate, you will still be offered 6 free telephone sessions.
